Description
Give your horse the ultimate outdoor protection with the Obsidia 150g Turnout
“Obsidian” 150g has a light heat-insulating filling that makes it well suited for chilly weather. The accompanying neck protector has a 100g filling and is easily attached to the blanket with the help of hook and loop.
Both the blanket and the neck cover are made of a water-repellent material (5000mm-3000gsm) with very good breathability. The lining consists of a woven textile whose smooth surface prevents chafing. The Welltex® technology in the material strongly reflects the horse’s body heat in the form of infrared energy (FIR).
“Obsidian” envelops a large part of the horse’s body in Welltex®, which stimulates blood circulation in the large muscle groups, increases the horse’s well-being and can promote softness and mobility in muscles and joints. The effect can also help relieve problems with stiffness, inflammation and osteoarthritis.
The blanket is effectively held in place with the help of double shoulder buckles, V-front closures, X-surcingles under the belly and a plastic-covered tail strap with D-rings. The design makes it fit perfectly together with Back on Track’s Rhyolite liner and other liners.
The black blanket and neck guard are equipped with reflective piping for increased visibility and safety.
“Obsidian” comes in a large, sturdy bag with carrying straps, which can be reused as a hay bag, for example.

30 Day Returns, Free Exchanges
You may return items up to 30 days after purchase . We offer simple pre paid return labels for all eligible items.
Apparel, Horse clothing and Tack Items must be returned in like-new condition with the original packaging and tags still intact. We are unable to offer return credit on dirty, laundered or used items. (for defective or manufacturer warrantied items, please see below)
All other items can be returned only if sealed and unopened in original packaging, prior to expiration date.
Items marked CLEARANCE and/or FINAL SALE are not eligible for return.
EXCHANGES
We offer free exchanges. Please note on your Return that you wish an exchange for the same item in a different size, or reach out to us at hello@rideordieshop.com and we'll get back to you quickly with assistance on sizing or substitution.
You will be charged an $8.00 return shipping fee which is refunded once merchandise is received and exchanged. Exchanges must be initiated within the 30 day return window.
DEFECTS and WARRANTY
We work diligently to inspect all items that leave our warehouse for quality and freshness. Additionally, many of our manufacturers offer direct warranties and we will work with you to connect in the event there is a claim to be made. REFUNDS
Most refunds will be made to the original form of payment when items arrive in our warehouse according to our return policy, we will deduct the $8 flat rate from your refund to cover return shipping. Gifts returned with gift receipt or invoice will receive a gift card in the amount of the purchase price. Gifts returned without gift receipt or invoice will receive a merchandise credit in the amount of the current or final selling price.
If you return items that were purchased using RideRewards, the dollar/point value of the award(s) allocated to the item(s) returned will be converted and credited to your account within 14 days of your completed return.
