Refund policy
RETURNS
Returns are accepted on most items within 30 days after date of order delivery. (see below for exceptions)
Items included in our annual warehouse clearance and Items marked CLEARANCE and/or FINAL SALE are not eligible for return.
We offer simple $8.99 flat pre-paid return labels for all eligible items, and this is the best way for us to track your returns (cost of label will be deducted from your refund).
Apparel, Horse clothing and Tack Items must be returned in like-new condition with the original packaging and tags still intact. We are unable to offer return credit on dirty, laundered or used items. (for defective or manufacturer warrantied items, please see below) We reserve the right to inspect any returned merchandise for signs of wear, and deny a return if it appears to have been used.
All Safety Equipment such as Helmets, Air Vests, Body Protectors and Custom Boots, Helmets are FINAL SALE. ONCE AN ORDER IS PLACED WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS OR RETURNS
DO NOT ORDER MULTIPLE HELMETS TO 'TRY THEM ON' - THEY ARE NOT RETURNABLE. If you would like a closer look, book an appointment. We are happy to show you models that will fit you best.
Items marked CLEARANCE and/or FINAL SALE are not eligible for return.
EXCHANGES
We offer free exchanges on most items within 30 days of initial order delivery. Please see below for specific guidance regarding Exchanges on Safety Equipment. Please note on your Return that you wish an exchange for the same item in a different size, or reach out to us at hello@rideordieshop.com and we'll get back to you quickly with assistance on sizing or substitution.
You will be charged an $8.99 return shipping fee which is refunded once merchandise is received and exchanged. Exchanges must be initiated within the 30 day return window.
LIMITED EXCHANGES for Safety Equipment
For Safety Equipment: Helmets, AirVests, Body Protectors and Boots
7 Day Exchanges only available for equipment purchased during or directly following virtual / in person fitting appointment (items listed on the invoice sent to you following your fitting).
- We will assist you in an exchange on the same model or a corrected model to get the correct fit.
- You have a 7-day window from the date of confirmed delivery of safety product to customer address to initiate an exchange. When you contact us, we will assess your needs for an equipment exchange, and will issue you an RMA return label.
- Customer has 7 days from the issuance of RMA label to mail safety equipment back to us. Safety equipment is non-returnable outside of this period.
- Any returns received 14+ days after RMA label has been issued are subject to our regular helmet FINAL SALE policy.
Custom helmet & boot orders are measured to fit prior to purchase and are non-returnable or exchangeable (we will work with you on fit adjustments to the custom product if needed to get it right).
DEFECTS and WARRANTY
We work diligently to inspect all items that leave our warehouse for quality and freshness. Additionally, many of our manufacturers offer direct warranties and we will work with you to connect in the event there is a claim to be made. REFUNDS
Most refunds will be made to the original form of payment when items arrive in our warehouse according to our return policy, we will deduct the $8.99 flat rate from your refund to cover return shipping.
Gifts returned with a gift receipt or invoice will receive a store credit in the amount of the purchase price. Gifts returned without gift receipt or invoice will receive a merchandise credit in the amount of the current or final selling price.
If you return items that were purchased using RideRewards, the dollar/point value of the award(s) allocated to the item(s) returned will be converted and credited to your account within 14 days of your completed return.

HOLIDAY EXTENDED RETURNS. From Nov 1, 2026 to Jan 31, 2027 on all non-clearance apparel, horse clothing and tack items purchased between Nov 1 and Dec 24th, 2025. We will also facilitate exchanges or store credit returns on all in stock helmets (subject to our regular inspection terms, unused with tags and packaging intact).
